Join CHROMATICA at Carnegie Hall June 2024

A Message from Jordan Lee - Founder, CEO + Creative Director of ACE University

Come with me to the prestigious and historic Carnegie Hall, June 13-17, 2024 where I will be leading the CHROMATICA Community Mass Choir and the New England Symphonic Ensemble in a creative demonstration of consciousness, love, unity, community and freedom.

This production will also be A Carnegie Hall debut of “LEEVILLE” original compositions “YOU ARE” and “Never End” (currently out on all streaming platforms) - Written for choir, orchestra, and other modern music instruments.

This historical opportunity was made possible through MidAmerica Productions (MAP) who booked the performance venue, selected members from the New England Symphonic Ensemble, selects professional soloists, and invited me to serve as Guest Conductor.

ACEU Spirit Week Mass Ensembles

Join an perform with an ensemble during the ACEU Spirit Week Festival. The CHROMATICA creative collective was birthed from the annual ACOBE (A Celebration of Black Excellence) Festival Mass Choir experience in Greensboro, North Carolina. Now, CHROMATICA takes several forms, including small vocal ensembles, mass choirs, instrumental ensembles with the intention or creating community access to musical community, interaction and performance. We create community when we are called to create!

Choir

The CHROMATICA Choir, previously known as the ACOBE Festival Mass Choir, is the culmination of years of creating inclusivity and celebrating culture by bringing people together to lift their voices in harmony. Directed by Jordan Lee and Wesley Mcleary Small, the CHROMATICA Choir is a non rehearsing community choir with upwards of 200 members across North Carolina. The CHROMATICA Choir is a creative demonstration of consciousness, love, unity, community and freedom.

Orchestra

The CHROMATICA Mass Orchestra was created and is led by GCS Orchestra Directors, Marisha Williams and Solange Maughn. The CHROMATICA Mass Orchestra is a safe creation and learning space for ALL no matter race, national origin, gender, or any other criterion. We believe our mass orchestra exudes the natural divine excellence found and harvested in the string world. Our union through music and shared instrumentation brings awareness to who we are as a community and how we impact our environment daily.

Guitar

The CHROMATICA Guitar Ensemble is a Community Guitar Group directed by classical guitarist and composer Christopher Cloud. It invites guitars, basses, ukuleles and other plucked strings to join in harmony and experience a mixture of both classic and modern sounds. The focus of the Guitar Ensemble is to invite all lovers of the guitar to the stage to perform new works and arrangements and share that sense of community with newer generations of guitarists.
